Bring your family for a day of fun and adventure at Knebworth House. Famous worldwide for its rock concerts and as the home of Victorian novelist Edward Bulwer Lytton, Knebworth House has been home to the Lytton family for over 500 years. Enjoy exploring the lovely Gardens with a maze and walled kitchen garden. Follow the Dinosaur Trail in the Wilderness Garden with 72 life-sized dinosaurs and prehistoric creatures. Historic Deer Park and huge Adventure Playground with bouncy castle, astro/drop slides, zip wire and splash water play features. Visit the House and learn about the stories of Knebworth's long history and the family’s contribution to literature, politics and foreign service, and visits by characters as diverse as Charles Dickens and Winston Churchill. 

Knebworth also has a House Archive. A private family archive open by appointment for research on the Lytton family and event history.

  • March to September Knebworth is open Weekends & Bank holidays 11am- 5pm
  • July to August Knebworth is open daily 11am- 5pm
